Storage and Maintenance
1. Storage Environment
- During transportation and storage, keep rubber rollers away from direct sunlight, rain and snow. Do not expose them to acids, alkalis, oils and organic solvents, and maintain a distance of 2 meters from all heat sources.
- Store rubber rollers in a warehouse with temperature between 10℃ and 35℃ and relative humidity ranging from 50% to 80%.Extreme temperatures will cause the rubber surface to age, crack, harden and lose elasticity, resulting in poor wear resistance. Excessively high temperature will also lead to moisture absorption and rusting of roller cores.
- Cover rollers with thick paper or ink-proof plastic sheets to block light. Keep them away from strong light and ultraviolet rays, which will cause rubber aging, discoloration and cracking, shorten service life and affect printing quality.
2. Storage Method
Support rubber rollers by their shafts for storage. Squeezing and stacking are strictly prohibited. The gap between adjacent rollers shall be no less than 5 mm.
3. Notes
- Lift and carry rubber rollers by the shafts during transportation and handling to avoid impact, collision and scratches on the rubber surface.
- Keep the original packaging intact for new rollers that are not to be used immediately for protection.
- Inspect rubber rollers thoroughly for defects before use if they have been stored for a long time.
